A Gold-certified Cat Friendly Practice
Cats have unique medical and emotional needs. Our hospital is designed, and our team is trained, with those needs in mind.
What the certification means
Recognized by the AAFP and ISFM
Animal Republic Veterinary Hospital & Emergency is proud to be recognized as a Cat Friendly Practice® by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and the International Society for Feline Medicine (ISFM).
A Cat Friendly Practice® follows advanced standards for feline medicine, handling and hospital design. These standards help reduce stress during veterinary visits and allow cats to receive better medical care — a frightened cat is genuinely harder to examine accurately.
Our team focuses on gentle handling, a calm environment, and medical care tailored specifically for feline patients: from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to diagnostics and treatment.
Our veterinarian
Dr. Omid Fazeli
Dr. Omid Fazeli is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and has completed the Cat Friendly Certificate Program. His passion for feline medicine extends beyond the hospital — he shares his home with two cats, Munchie and Morad.

Where we stand
We do not declaw
As part of our commitment to feline welfare, Animal Republic Veterinary Hospital & Emergency does not perform elective declawing procedures.
Instead, we work with cat owners to provide humane alternatives and education to protect both cats and their families.
For your cat
Other care for your cat
Cat Friendly handling is not a separate service — it applies across the hospital. Your cat gets the same in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital X-ray, surgical suite and ICU as any other patient, handled to feline standards.
