ICU & Overnight Monitoring

For patients requiring continued hospitalization, our ICU provides close monitoring and supportive care. For most hospitalized patients, we provide overnight monitoring by a veterinary technician, with a veterinarian available on call.

Monitoring

Close Monitoring & Critical Care

Our ICU is designed for patients who need closer observation, supportive care, and frequent reassessment. Our veterinary team monitors each patient based on their individual medical needs, including vital signs, oxygenation, blood pressure, comfort, and response to treatment.

Treatment

Comprehensive ICU care

We provide supportive treatments designed to stabilize critically ill patients and support recovery:

  • Intravenous fluid therapy
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Medication administration
  • Blood transfusion
  • Advanced wound management
  • Critical care after surgery

Each patient receives individualized care based on their medical condition and specific treatment needs.

Why it matters

Emergency care, diagnostics, surgery and ICU in one building

The emergency team, the diagnostics, the surgical suite and the ICU are in the same building, so a critical patient is stabilized, imaged, treated and monitored here.

For most hospitalized patients, we provide overnight monitoring by a veterinary technician, with a veterinarian available on call. We only transfer hospitalized patients when they are critically ill and require continuous in-hospital veterinarian supervision or a higher level of overnight critical care.

We are not open to the public 24 hours: new emergencies after hours are referred to a 24-hour emergency facility.
