Veterinary Endoscopy

At Animal Republic Veterinary Hospital and ER, we offer advanced endoscopy services to diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions in pets with minimal invasiveness. Endoscopic procedures allow veterinarians to examine internal organs such as the digestive tract, urinary system, and respiratory system without the need for major surgery.

What is Endoscopy?

Endoscopy uses a flexible tube with a small camera to visualize the inside of your pet’s body. This technique allows veterinarians to evaluate internal structures and obtain important diagnostic information while avoiding large surgical incisions.

Benefits of Endoscopy

Minimally invasive procedures reduce trauma and often allow faster recovery compared to traditional surgery.
High-resolution imaging provides clear visualization of internal organs and abnormalities.
Endoscopy can also be used to remove foreign objects or obtain biopsy samples during the same procedure.

Our Endoscopy Services

Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
Upper GI evaluation examines the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine for problems such as ulcers, tumors, or inflammatory disease.
Lower GI endoscopy evaluates the large intestine for abnormalities.
Endoscopy can also be used to remove swallowed foreign objects and obtain tissue biopsies.

Respiratory Endoscopy
Rhinoscopy evaluates the nasal passages and sinuses to determine causes of nasal discharge or obstruction.
Airway examination allows visualization of the larynx, trachea, and bronchi to investigate breathing problems.

Urological Endoscopy
This procedure allows evaluation of the bladder and urethra to detect problems such as stones, inflammation, or tumors and to assist with diagnosis of urinary disorders.

Our team uses modern endoscopic equipment to provide accurate diagnosis while prioritizing your pet’s safety and comfort. Endoscopy is often part of a comprehensive diagnostic plan that helps guide effective treatment and recovery.
